Alison Roffman
Alison Roffman is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who received her Masters degree from Portland State University. She interned at Corvallis Outreach Inc. and Oregon State University Counseling Center. She then worked 3 years with hospice patients and their families, holding space and being with the uncomfortable. She has a background in Mindfulness and Brene Brown's shame resilience work. She has experience with life transitions, trauma, anxiety, depression and grief. She offers a safe space, free of judgment to explore each client's thoughts, feelings and behaviors. Alison often incorporates mindfulness based and somatic body centered practices and teaches techniques to assist self- regulation to utilize when feeling overwhelmed. Alison integrates Internal Family Systems (parts work) and is EMDR trained. Alison's goal is to collaborate with each client to explore their coping mechanisms and heal their wounded parts so they may live in the present, unburdened by their past.
