Counseling Services

It is easy to feel overwhelmed and stuck, and go into survival mode when navigating through life's challenges and transitions. My goal is to assist each client in exploring their mind, body and emotions in order to gain insight, initiate growth and healing while developing skills to no longer just survive, but thrive.

About

Alison Roffman

Alison Roffman is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who received her Masters degree from Portland State University. She interned at Corvallis Outreach Inc. and Oregon State University Counseling Center. She then worked a few years with hospice patients and their families. She has a background in Mindfulness and Brene Brown's shame resilience work. She has experience with life transitions, trauma, anxiety, depression and grief. She offers a safe space, free of judgment to explore each client's thoughts and feelings. Alison often incorporates mindfulness based and body centered practices and teaches techniques to assist self- regulation when feeling overwhelmed. Yet, she is also trained and incorporates other evidence based practices such as CBT, ACT and DBT as indicated. Alison's goal is to collaborate with each client to identify any barriers and set goals to overcome one’s limitations and live as fully as one can.
